OUR MISSION
We aim to create harmony between people and nature as we guide and inspire the visitors of Grandin Farms. We support our customers through time-tested recommendations of the best plants for their outdoor spaces, based on sun and shade conditions, desired color palettes, and design preferences. We also help our visitors learn about maintaining environmental health by choosing sustainable native plants—encouraging natural pollination to help foster a healthy world.
OUR HISTORY
At Grandin Farms, we are a community-minded business with longstanding family ties to nature, plants, and design sensibility. Owner Peter Grandin cultivated his love of landscaping when he began mowing lawns at age of 14. Ever since then, Peter has nurtured this passion, leading him to establish the design, construction, and maintenance business, GrandScapes. The community impact and creativity of Grandscapes strongly influenced the development and success here, at Grandin Farms.
COMMUNITY & EDUCATION
When you visit Grandin Farms, you’re entering a welcoming place of serenity—a place where nature novices become lifelong plant lovers. We encourage visitors to spend some time and enjoy our space however it inspires you: learn about raising high-quality plantings or relax with a book and enjoy the beautiful gardens. We are developing plans for more shared space opportunities including open educational events and botanical gardens.

Evergreen Shrubs

Evergreen Trees

Deciduous Shrubs

Deciduous Trees

These rockstar pollinators turn into everlasting floral displays that continue to impress for years. Perennials are conventionally planted in mass groupings for jaw-dropping seasonal color and effortless appeal. Every garden can use a hint of their vibrant magic!
Grasses
As the underdogs of coastal landscapes, these low-maintenance plants fulfill a multitude of tasks, such as natural composting, drought tolerance, and erosion and moisture control. And they can provide attractive foliage, soften hardscapes, and create texture and movement.

TANGIBLE RESOURCES
From educating our customers on earth-friendly design techniques to advising on the creation of a brand new DIY garden, our friendly staff is available to point you in the right direction. We offer delivery of trees and plants right from our farm to your yard, and can deliver mulch, wood chips, ¾ - inch stone, and ⅜ - inch stone or fresh soil to you for all of your landscaping projects! Come on by, take a tour, and consult with one of our farm experts for your next delivery!
PLANT HEALTH POLICY
**No outside plant material of any kind is allowed into the farm due to risk of contagious plant disease and infection. Instead, please send us photographs of your ill or damaged plants so that we can diagnose them remotely. We are happy to suggest products for the health of your plant via email or chat. If visiting the farm in person, please leave your plants at home.
RETURN POLICY
Once a plant is purchased and leaves Grandin Farms’ property, we cannot accept it back under any circumstances. Any future plant health diagnostics must be done remotely via email or phone call. We do not accept returns. Please understand there are no exceptions.
